Every breeding season, the management of Buck Mountain Ranch spend much of our time comparing bulls from around the world to select only the best genetics to grow our herd. We will use only proven sires in our program. All of our breeding stock goes through a complete analysis to ensure we are only offering our customers the best possible genetics for their herd. Although we feel that marbling and tenderness is an important factor when picking our sires, we also look at size and maternal merits.

At Buck Mountain, we know that the cows we choose for our embryo program are just as important as the sires we choose so our donor cows are tested free from all gene defects and scores in the top 5% for marbling and tenderness. In our herd we take the extra steps so you can be confident that you are adding world class genetics into your herd.
